In Taft, the Taft Blackland Museum is housed in a 1920s building that once accommodated the offices of the Taft Ranch. The Sinton Historical Museum collects and preserves historical artifacts relating to the early settlers of the area around Sinton and their descendants. Those interested in architecture will find Beaux-Arts influences, terra-cotta details, a pronounced symmetrical design, a distinctive corner entrance, and cast-stone surrounds on the doors and windows in the Odem Building.

Further evidence of the region's past can be found in buildings and cemeteries. A replica of the 1872 courthouse was built at its original location and dedicated in 1986. Bethel Baptist Church of Christ was founded on May 6, 1873, and was the first Baptist congregation in San Patricio County. Its cemetery contains the graves of seven American Civil War veterans and many pioneer settlers of the region.

The Old Cemetery on the Hill was used for generations by Indigenous tribes and Mexican settlers before Anglo-American colonization. Today, it is maintained after restoration work began in the 1960s. In Meansville stands a two-story building constructed in 1874 that served as a schoolhouse, an ecumenical church, and a community center. Gregory traces its origins to a railroad station built in 1886 at a place known as Corpus Christi Junction.

The events “Easter in the Park” and “Christmas in the Park” include an approved barbecue cooking competition.
