Karagayly: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A mountain route of around 25 kilometres leads to Karagayly from the entrance to Ile-Alatau National Park, through the Prokhodnoye Gorge and over the Kaskabas Pass. The route takes about eight hours and connects several distinctive landscapes before reaching the settlement.

Nature

The area surrounding Karagayly is home to Volch'ya Mountain, Iqılas Mountain and Kaskabas Mountain. Bermuda is also located nearby.

The route to Karagayly includes the Kaskabas Pass, an optional ascent to a 2,305-metre-high summit with views of the surrounding mountains, and a section heading west through groves and gardens before reaching the settlement.

Activities

Guided horseback rides are offered in Ile-Alatau National Park above the Karagayly Reservoir. Options range from 90 minutes to four hours, and the rides take place under the supervision of an instructor.
