Geographical Location

Rueun is a subdivision of the municipality of Ilanz/Glion in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Until the end of 2013, Rueun was an independent political municipality.

Rueun extends across both sides of the Vorderrhein. The landscape includes forest, the Ogna da Pardiala floodplain nature reserve, a valley floor and the mountain area, which rises to Fil da Rueun at 2,351 metres.
