Sumvitg: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
Sumvitg, known in German and officially called Somvix until 1985, is a locality and political municipality in the Swiss canton of Graubünden and belongs to the Surselva region.
The peaks Piz Brit, Piz Rentiert, Piz Stavelatsch and Piz Frisal are located in the area surrounding Somvix.

Culture
In Sogn Benedetg stands a well-known wooden chapel built by Peter Zumthor between 1985 and 1988. Sumvitg was a traditional farming community. Sumvitg was connected to the new cantonal road in 1854 and to the Rhaetian Railway in 1912. Somvix is listed in the Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National and Regional Significance for protected townscapes.
