Culture
The villagescape of Stierva/Stürvis has been designated a site of national importance. The present late Gothic structure of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene was completed in December 1521. The late Gothic parish church is distinguished by a remarkable rib vault and an also late Gothic winged altarpiece.
The Rechenmacherhaus offers the public a B&B and a museum where visitors can learn about the history of the house.

Nature
The Alp da Stierva moorland landscape is of national importance. It stretches across a hillside terrace near Stierva/Stürvis and offers panoramic views of the Albula Valley and the scree slopes of Piz Toissa.
The traditional settlement of Alp da Stierva has been preserved and comprises a group of Maiensäss summer pastures and field barns built as log cabins.
Trails
The Veia digl Pader is a twelve-kilometre-long experience trail from Stierva/Stürvis to Savognin. Along the Veia digl Pader, poems by Father Alexander Lozza (1880–1953) can be accessed via the Parc Ela app.
The senda meir (Mouse Trail) walking path in Stierva was laid out with many mouse stones and bends.
Winter
The 130-metre-long Sumvei small ski lift has a gentle, child-friendly slope where beginners can practise their first turns.
