Discover Öjersjö
Accommodation in Öjersjö
Öjersjö combines water-based experiences, outdoor activities and regional history in a way that makes many different kinds of holiday possible. At Kåsjöbadet, you will find several bathing jetties, diving towers and toilets. Those focusing on swimming will find a convenient place to include in their travel plans. Kåsjöbadet is located on Kåsjövägen in Öjersjö; buses 512 and 516 also stop at the Kåsjön bus stop directly next to Kåsjöbadet when travelling from Partille centrum.
Water, trails and activities
There is a circular trail around the small and large Kåsjön lakes. On the western side of the small Kåsjön, there is a shelter, and tables and benches can be found at several locations.
Another special feature is Hålsjögymmet. It is located outside Öjersjö Church, between the small and large Hålsjön lakes, and is open to everyone, not just church members. Eight mainly wooden exercise stations provide an additional opportunity for active hours. At the outdoor gym on Tallmossevägen, several exercise stations for all age groups stand next to a nature playground.
There are also convenient destinations for families with different interests: Öjersjö has an activity park with climbing opportunities, an obstacle course and a multisport area. The activity park is located on Gamla vägen next to Hallen preschool. Anyone looking to include a playful or sporting activity in their day can consider this location as well as the disc golf course at Lilla Hålsjön. It has six baskets in the woodland near Öjersjö Church.
Cultural landscape around Gamla vägen
Alongside its recreational attractions, Öjersjö also has a noteworthy historical side. The older farms of Öjersjö Hallen along Gamla vägen form a valuable cultural landscape. Öjersjö Church is located near Lilla Hålsjön; its grounds also include a croft dating from 1850. Those who want to discover not only nature and outdoor activities but also older settlement structures during their trip will find several different points of interest here.
The desired daily rhythm can therefore be an important factor when choosing a holiday apartment: the focus might be on swimming days at Kåsjöbadet, active hours in the activity park or at Hålsjögymmet, walks and mushroom-picking trips in Bråtaskogen, or cultural and historical discoveries. Bråtaskogen serves as a local recreation area for Öjersjö and is used for walks and mushroom-picking trips.
Travel-planning information
A footpath and cycle path runs along Nya Öjersjövägen from the roundabout at Hålsjövägen to the roundabout at Björkdals väg. The route was completed in summer 2025. Hultet Södra has footpaths and cycle paths, lighting and green spaces established by the municipality.
In the municipality concerned, in southern Partille, the wetland and bog area Maderna-Haketjärn lies east of Landvettervägen. Vildmarksleden and Bohusleden pass through the area. This means that the landscape perspective extends beyond the individual attractions in Öjersjö.
