The Sendero de Pedreguer PR-V53 runs through the mountainous part of Pedreguer and the Sierra del Castillo de la Solana, also known as Muntanya Gran. Along the route are numerous dry-stone terraces associated with the former cultivation of olives, almonds, carob and grapes in Pedreguer. The Sendero de Pedreguer PR-V53 is classified as moderate to challenging.

Landscape
The Mirador de Mirabarques is located on Monte Pedreguer and consists of a metal structure with a semicircular wooden platform. Since 1998, the Mirador de Mirabarques has offered panoramic views across large parts of the Marina. At this viewpoint, you can consider the structural design and the period in which it was built separately.
History
At the summit of Castillo del Ocaive, the surviving architectural structures date from the Middle Ages, more precisely from the 13th and 14th centuries. The Iglesia de la Santa Cruz is Pedreguer's most important historical and artistic monument, a Bien de Relevancia Local in the town centre that was built at the beginning of the 15th century. Inside, the church preserves one of the finest examples of decoration using the sgraffito technique.
Molinets consists of two circular stone mills for producing flour, built in 1850 and restored in 2016. Access to Molinets is free; the interiors can currently be visited if you collect the key from the local police or the cultural centre upon depositing an identity document. For the historical sites, the information varies according to the period, architectural form, protection status and access regulations. You can consider these features individually without equating the different cultural sites.
Trails and Duration
The route to Castillo del Ocaive is 10 km long, takes about three hours and is classified as moderate to easy. It leads through the mountains and plain of Pedreguer and provides insight into the origins of the municipality during the Islamic period of the 12th and 13th centuries. The Les Fonts de la Muntanya route offers views of Pedreguer and the sea. It is connected to the PR-V53, is 5.2 km long, takes about two hours and is classified as moderate to easy.
