Igüeña – Mountains, Trails and Mining History
Within the municipality of Igüeña in León, Colinas del Campo de Martín Moro Toledano is protected as an Asset of Cultural Interest (Bien de Interés Cultural) in the category of “Historic Site”; the legal basis is Decree 243/1994 of 10 November 1994 issued by the Junta of Castile and León. One stage of the Camino Olvidado passes through Colinas del Campo de Martín Moro Toledano on its way to Igüeña. The Camino Olvidado is considered one of the early routes to Compostela and was already in use between the 9th and 12th centuries.

Getting There
The route from Bembibre to Colinas del Campo leads via the LE-106 and Boeza; you then reach Igüeña by taking a left-hand turn.
