The Iglesia de San Julián y Santa Basilisa is located at an elevated point in the village of Rebolledo de la Torre; Peña Amaya lies in the background. The Romanesque portico was built in 1186 by Juan de Piasca. The Castillo de Rebolledo de la Torre stands on a motte near the Romanesque church. The Castillo was already standing in the 14th century. Its layout has an irregular polygonal ground plan adapted to the terrain and was defended by a double earthen ditch.
Culture and History
The historic buildings refer to different points of interest within the village. Through its date, the portico points to a clearly defined era and a builder known by name. The historic buildings offer several independent ways of accessing the history of the village, without prescribing a particular order in which to view them. The historic buildings can be considered from several perspectives, without any one of them being prescribed.

The trail can be walked independently, on foot, using supporting brochures and signage.
