Vecindario: Culture, Markets and Events

The Museo de La Zafra presents almost a century of the Zafra era. This includes the migration from the mid-altitude areas to the southeast coast for agricultural work, particularly in tomato cultivation and export. The museum is located in the urban area of Vecindario and presents the accommodation of agricultural workers, transport, tomato packing houses, as well as the struggle for better working conditions and living conditions in the accommodation.

Markets and Events

A municipal food market takes place in Vecindario on Mondays. The municipal Wednesday market includes food, textiles, shoes, second-hand goods, flowers, plants and seeds.
