Hiking and paths

The Arenal d'en Castell–Cala Tirant section of the Camí de Cavalls begins at Arenal d'en Castell beach and runs along the coast to Son Parc. Along its route, it passes through the wooded area of s'Albufera des Comte and includes the remains of the early Christian basilica of Cap des Port de Fornells.

A 13.5-kilometre coastal hike along the northern coast of Menorca eventually leads to Arenal d'en Castell. This means that, within the coastal landscape, a distinctive beach, wooded sections of path, protected landscapes and an archaeological testament come together at this location.

Surroundings and access

Port d'Addaia, a natural harbour with a marina, is located in the vicinity of Arenal d'en Castell. Na Macaret, with a small beach, is also nearby.

Arenal d'en Castell beach can be reached via the Me-9 road. To do so, turn off the Me-7 road between Maó and Fornells at the junction towards Na Macaret and Addaia.
