Another route idea, with a different layout, was announced in early 2023: as part of the Ruta Llull, the municipality of Algaida planned two routes, one on foot and one for cycling tourism. Both were to run from Algaida via the former 13th-century church of Castellitx and Randa to the Ermita de Sant Honorat and the summit of Puig de Randa. This offers a different spatial perspective from the five-kilometre path from Randa to Santuari: the plans at the time included Algaida and further stops on the way to the summit.
