Geographical location

Es Carritxó lies between S'horta and Cas Concos. Most of the population lives dispersed throughout the area rather than in a concentrated village centre.

History

Es Carritxó developed from the 18th century onwards through the gradual division of the historic estates of Binifarda, es Carritxó, sa Badalona and Son Barceló.
