Cala Mesquida has a white sandy beach situated between dunes and pine forests; the area was designated an “Area of Special Natural Interest” in 1991.

The beach has a developed side with a large hotel complex and a largely untouched right-hand side. It is suitable for swimming and walking; a mountain and a watchtower form the backdrop above the bay.
