Termas Romanas de las Bóvedas is a Roman bath building constructed in the 2nd century AD, with an octagonal floor plan and seven vaulted rooms. Trapiche de Guadaiza began operating in 1827 as the first industrial facility in San Pedro de Alcántara. During the restoration of Trapiche de Guadaiza, the traditional architecture of the buildings and the remains of the aqueduct that powered the machinery for grinding sugar cane were preserved.

San Pedro Alcántara emerged in the second half of the 19th century from an agricultural estate that was developed into a settlement core with residential buildings, services and industrial facilities. The tower of La Alcoholera houses a museum on the history of San Pedro Alcántara, covering the archaeological sites and the history of the sugar factory.
