A signposted route begins in the centre of Peligros: the Cuevas Altas route can be used on foot or by bicycle.

The Cuevas Altas route offers views of Güevéjar, Sierra Nevada, Sierra Elvira and the Peñón de la Mata. At 7.55 kilometres, it is of moderate difficulty and is designed to take approximately two hours.

Culture

The Church of San Ildefonso de Peligros has a stained-glass ensemble consisting of four works: the windows depict the four Evangelists Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and represent the Tetramorph.

The baptistery of the Iglesia de San Ildefonso de Peligros contains a fifth stained-glass window depicting the Holy Spirit.
