The castle building is said to have been constructed around 1830 according to plans by Joseph Weixlbraun. The Tholdalagi family crypt is one of Corunca’s historic monuments; the date 1830 is associated with it.

The wooden entrance gate of the church in Corunca bears a Latin inscription and is dated to 1710. The Reformed church was built between 1769 and 1778, while the Orthodox church was built in 1912. The present-day church was constructed over the ruins of an older church. This creates a cultural and historical focal point where buildings, inscriptions and different periods of construction stand side by side.
