Coruia: Wooden Church, Lăpuș and Sărbătoarea Cireșelor

The “Sf. Ana” wooden church in Coruia is dated to 1794 and listed under LMI code MM-II-a-A-04553. To the east of the church stands a centuries-old oak that has been declared a natural monument. There is also a memorial cross in the courtyard of the “Zămislirea Sfintei Ana” wooden church. Thus, in addition to the historic wooden building, the church grounds include a protected tree and a separate memorial marker.
