Culture and History
The historical character of Satulung includes the Teleki Castle ensemble, which is registered as a historic monument. The castle reached its current size in 1891 and was known for a library containing 4,000 volumes.
Another Teleki Castle is located in Pribilești. It is a historic monument with the code MM-II-m-A-04609. It was built as a summer residence in the 1870s and 1880s; around 1897, it acquired its final form in the Neo-Renaissance style.
The Orthodox Church of Satulung was completed in stone in 1899. Its oldest bell dates from 1637. The Reformed Church of Satulung can accommodate 50 to 60 worshippers.
