The archaeological area of “La Mănăstire” is located about 300 metres east of the centre of Bogdan Vodă, at the place where, according to tradition, the palace of Dragoș Vodă stood. The traditional houses of Bogdan Vodă are marked as “visit-able” and are undergoing rehabilitation. In the commune, visitors can purchase locally made handicrafts with multi-ethnic cultural influences.

The statue ensemble of Bogdan Vodă depicts the voivode on horseback, surrounded by five noblemen. Historical sources have described Cuhea since 1353 as a fortress and the residence of the voivodeship of the Bogdănești.
