Culture

Romuli was formerly known as Strâmba. Today’s Church of St. John the Baptist in Romuli was built between 1904 and 1908 from stone and brick in the Romanesque style as a single-nave building. The icons in the Church of St. John the Baptist were painted by Octavian Smighelschi from Blaj.
