Culture and Tradition
The church in Ianoșda is dedicated to the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel and was built in 1925–1926 in the Baroque style, with Gothic and Byzantine elements. The Church of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Mădăraș dates from the 19th century, was repaired in 1892, and painted in 1973.
The “Cununița” folklore ensemble from Mădăraș was founded on January 7, 2008. It performs Polcă, Pe picior, Țura fetelor, Fecioresc, and Lioara, a spring custom.

It was built between 1935 and 1939 and has the shape of a ship with a bell tower in the Romanesque style, combined with elements of the Brâncovenesc style; an alternative construction period given is 1934–1937.
