One of the area’s notable cultural monuments is Quinta da Fisga. It is classified as a property of public interest, known in Portuguese as Imóvel de Interesse Público. The oldest known part of Casa da Quinta da Fisga dates from 1683. Since its construction, the quinta has belonged to the same family. A chapel and Rococo-style garden fountains were built at Solar da Quinta da Fisga in the 18th century. Banda Marcial de Bairros has existed for more than two centuries and performed more than 20 times in one season, including concerts as well as participation in festivals and religious pilgrimages.

Ponte da Bateira, also known as Ponte do Loureiral, was built in 1893. It crosses the Rio Paiva in a boundary area of Bairros and connects Travanca with the municipality of Cinfães. The bridge is also associated with Natura 2000 site PTCON0059 Rio Paiva.
