The Anadia Walking Trails project comprises six hiking routes, each approximately ten kilometres long. At the Igreja Paroquial de Tamengos, construction of the basic structure began in 1716 and was completed in 1721. The main altar includes a limestone sculpture of Saint Peter from the late 14th century, originating from a workshop in Coimbra. The Museu / Palacete José Luciano de Castro is located in the palace where José Luciano de Castro lived; the palace was built in 1860.

The Paço da Graciosa and the Capela Nª Srª da Piedade ou dos Pintos in Mogofores provide further historical highlights. The Paço da Graciosa was built in the last third of the 18th century. Its neo-Manueline-style structure, built towards the end of the 19th century, is supported by 17th-century columns originating from demolitions in Coimbra. The Paço is classified as a property of public interest. The chapel in Mogofores was built as a funerary chapel for the nobleman Cristovão Pinto de Paiva, dates from the third quarter of the 17th century and is also classified as a property of public interest.

Wine Production and Regional Cuisine

The Estação Vitivinícola da Bairrada was founded on 30 June 1887 under the name Escola Prática de Viticultura e Pomologia da Bairrada. The first natural sparkling wine of Bairrada was produced at its facilities in 1890. In Anadia, you can visit wine cellars and wineries. Casa do Canto, which dates from 1680, also has a special connection with wine production. The vineyards of Casa do Canto lie on the clay-limestone soils of Bairrada; the preferred grape variety there is Baga.

The savoury dishes mentioned for Anadia include Leitão, Chanfana and Negalhos. The sweets listed include Aletria, Amores da Curia, Bolo da Páscoa, Barriga de Freira and Bairradinos.
