The Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora das Neves is a three-nave church in the centre of Angeja. It was completely rebuilt at the end of the 17th century and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. At the northern entrance to the town are the simple 17th-century Capela de S. Sebastião and a fountain from the same period. The Capela do Espírito Santo is also located there.

Casa Velha offers another distinctive townscape feature: an ensemble of two two-storey buildings with white façades and green doors. The milling tradition is also part of the local character. Moinho do Ti Miguel is a watermill with three pairs of millstones, two of which are still in operation. Moinho do Ti Miguel in Fontão, Angeja is also associated with the municipality's information about mill visits. In Fontão, bread, padas, regueifas and sweet bread are still made with flour from these mills. This connection between craftsmanship, regional products and the landscape offers a special point of interest for a trip focused not only on paths and buildings, but also on local traditions.
