The Museum of the Battles for the Pomeranian Wall is located in the cultural centre in Miroslawiec. Since 2011, it has also had a room dedicated to the history of military aviation. Several monuments commemorate different aspects of this history. A T-34/85 tank monument commemorates the soldiers who fell in the battle for the town in 1945. An SU-22 aircraft monument recalls the 58-year connection between the residents of Miroslawiec and military aviation. The monument to Our Lady of Loreto, in turn, is dedicated to all aviators who have served and continue to serve in the Polish skies. Together, these dedications show how varied the memorial sites are in their focus.
Church and Historic Buildings
The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1721 by the von Blankenburg family. The church also contains an 18th-century baptismal font and a choir gallery. Its history and features thus offer two different points of interest for visitors interested in sacred history and historic details.
The Wedel castle courtyard also evokes an earlier era: it dates from around 1375 and is surrounded by a wet moat. Góra Piaskowa is also home to the 19th-century von Blankenburg family cemetery.
