Niedalino on the Radew
Accommodation in Niedalino
The Radew, manor park and lake in the village landscape
Niedalino lies on the Radew, combining a river landscape with a striking historic green corridor in the centre. There, the former manor park and the neighbouring Jezioro Niedalino form a continuous landscape complex. The lake covers 14 hectares. The park’s old trees include silver birches, European beeches, ash trees, maples and horse chestnuts. If you like to consider both landscape and local history when choosing a holiday destination, Niedalino offers a tangible combination of the two: the former manor park beside the lake.

The manor park was created in the second half of the 19th century. Its former use remains part of the village’s history; at the same time, the old trees and its central location shape the landscape described here. The Radew, on which Niedalino lies, is covered by a protected area. In the surrounding area, it is considered peaceful and picturesque and is suitable for kayaking and fishing. These water activities offer a different focus from a stay centred mainly on the church and the history of the village.
Routes through Niedalino and along the water
The 58-kilometre Radew kayaking route passes through Niedalino. Along the way, you can see a historic hydroelectric power station here. The hydroelectric power stations in Niedalino and Rosnowo are also mentioned as attractions along the described cycling route. The Hajka hydroelectric power station is also located in the forests near Niedalino. These are different references to water and hydroelectric power in the area, not a single power station location.
Other routes connect Niedalino with a variety of landscapes. The Blue Palace Route leads from the village along a forest path beside the Radew and Jezioro Hajka towards Rosnowo. The red Trasa Słoneczna route is a loop that runs through Manowo, Niedalino, Rosnowo and Zacisze before returning to Manowo. Families planning a trip can consider whether they would prefer a holiday focused more on a route through the forest and along the water, or on a circuit through several villages.
Jezioro Hajka is also nearby. It offers opportunities for recreation and quieter stretches suited to less experienced kayakers. This gives visitors a choice of different water-based experiences: the Radew kayaking route passes through Niedalino, while the quieter stretches on Jezioro Hajka are in the area around the village.
The church and local history
Niedalino has a single-nave church dedicated to Our Lady of Częstochowa. It has no tower or separate chancel. The building formerly served as a cemetery chapel; a cemetery dating from the late 19th century surrounds the church. These features give the church a distinctive place in the village’s history. For those interested in culture, it offers a different focus from the river and route landscape; families can weigh up nature experiences and architectural history according to their interests.
The recreation grounds in Niedalino traditionally host annual events for the entire municipality and powiat. Community life is therefore also part of the village’s character. Niedalino is also located on Voivodeship Road 167, a useful point of reference for the village’s location. When looking for a holiday apartment or house, you can decide whether the river, routes, landscape or local history best fits your holiday plans.
