A military cemetery was established in Dorotowo on the shore of Lake Wulpińskie. The natural monuments on the road beyond Lake Kepijko include a three-trunk linden with trunk circumferences of 212, 210 and 290 cm, and a two-trunk linden with circumferences of 212 and 190 cm. The measurements refer to individual trunks, not a combined total circumference. Both lindens have a trunk measuring 212 cm; the other measurements differ. This makes it easy to compare the number of trunks and their respective circumferences.
Cycling Route and a Photographer’s View
An 11 km cycling route runs from Dorotowo through Majdy and Kręsk to Stawiguda. Its length and sequence of places provide a clear framework for planning an outing; check current route conditions before setting off. A municipal project also envisaged connecting the pedestrian and cycling path with the existing cycling route along ul. Wulpińska in Tomaszkowo, as well as with Dorotowo and Majdy.
During a photo walk in 2026, the group met at the beach and then walked through the village in search of characteristic, “postcard-worthy” views. Unlike a cycling trip, the focus was on individual village scenes. A water sports equipment rental facility is listed for Dorotowo.
