Historic traces from several centuries

Remains of a Gothic castle dating from the second half of the 14th century and remnants of the town walls have been preserved in the town. Later architectural landmarks include the Evangelical-Augsburg Church, built in 1886–1887, and an Art Nouveau apartment building constructed in 1909 on Hanki-Sawickiej Street.

The construction dates invite comparison across several eras: the castle and wall remnants date back to the Middle Ages, the church was built in the late 19th century, and the apartment building, dating from 1909, belongs to the early 20th century. Two cycling loops of different lengths

There are two loops of different lengths to choose from. The 24.5-kilometre cycling route runs from Jeziorany through Zerbuń and back to Jeziorany. The second route goes via Radostowo and Frączki, covers 29 kilometres and also returns to Jeziorany. Both are circular routes with the same starting and finishing point.

The 29-kilometre loop is 4.5 kilometres longer. The named intermediate towns also distinguish the options: Zerbuń is on the shorter route, while Radostowo and Frączki are on the longer one. For those travelling together, this offers two practical points of comparison—distance and route—to help choose the preferred cycling trip.

Ustnik and the protection of waterbirds

The Ustnik Nature Reserve covers 32.50 hectares and is located near the buildings of the Ustnik settlement, about five kilometres west of Jeziorany, in Jeziorany Municipality. It was established in 1991 to preserve breeding and resting grounds for rare and endangered water and marsh birds. Its conservation mandate therefore covers both breeding and resting grounds, giving nature-focused travellers interested in these groups of birds a specific point of interest.
