Beach and lake landscape

In 2023, local residents and tourists used the so-called “sołecka” beach in Talki on Lake Pamerek for sunbathing and swimming. If you plan to make this beach a fixed point on your trip, check the conditions before your visit. Lake Pamerek itself is near Talki and is connected to Lake Pamer by a ditch. It is also located within the Orzysz Lakes Protected Landscape Area, which covers a total of 21,153.0 hectares. This area figure refers to the protected landscape area as a whole.

Another natural landmark is also near Talki: a group of old oak trees. Two distinct natural features can therefore help you get your bearings: the water connection and protected-area setting of Lake Pamerek, and the separate group of oaks. The beach in Talki and the other nearby landscape features offer different starting points for planning your trip.

Golf in three forms

Talki Golf includes a driving range for practising long and mid-range shots, a nine-hole Pitch & Putt course with a par of 27, and an 18-hole mini-golf course. The facilities differ both in their format and purpose: the range is for practising shots, while Pitch & Putt and mini-golf each offer their own course format. Local history and cultural heritage

Talki is recorded as early as 1534. Another specific point of interest is the Protestant cemetery at Talki 66; it is listed in the municipal cultural heritage care programme for 2024–2027. The year places the area in its historical context, while the cemetery is a specifically named site with a defined maintenance period. Together, they provide an early reference to local history and a specific connection to cultural heritage, without saying the same thing.

A timetable effective from 14 October 2024 lists bus route 54 on the Miłki–Talki–Miłki–Giżycko route. Check the departure times before travelling, especially if a particular connection is important to your plans.
