Forests and Distinctive Natural Features

One has a circumference of 1.10 metres and is 0.8 metres high. The second is made of coarse-grained pink granite; its circumference is 6.66 metres and its height is 1.03 metres. It lies about 250 metres north of the Ełk–Orzysz road. The main difference is in their circumference measurements, while their heights are closer.
A tree also connects nature with local history: a description from 1998 mentions an English oak (Quercus robur) in the former manor park, with a circumference of 3.66 metres and a height of 25 metres. The natural features range from woodland to the species and rock type of individual objects, as well as specific measurements. A Harvest Festival with Regional Character
On 29 August 2026, the Ełk Municipality Harvest Festival took place in Ruska Wies.
