Zarzecze is recorded as having a palace complex dating from 1807–1819; the Dzieduszycki Museum is located in the palace.

The palace was commissioned by Magdalena Morska of the Dzieduszycki family; it was designed by Chrystian Piotr Aigner, an architect associated with Polish Classicism.
