Hiking trails with different starting points

A red hiking trail starts in Łodygowice and leads to Międzybrodzie Bialskie and Czernichów, as well as via Czupel to Magurka at an elevation of 909 m. The regional ensemble “Magurzanie” is also associated with the cultural centre. These different forms—events and a regional ensemble—offer more than one way to experience culture in Łodygowice.

Leisure in Łodygowice and by Lake Żywiec

The completed Centrum Sportu i Rekreacji “MORGI” includes a skate park, playground, workout area and outdoor gym. The facility is also surrounded by a cycling path or roller-skating track. You can enjoy water activities in Zarzecze, a village in the municipality on Lake Żywiec. Visitors can use pedal boats, kayaks and larger rental boats there. The municipality of Łodygowice has access to the lake in Zarzecze along a stretch of about 4.5 km. This connection to the water belongs to Zarzecze and complements the cultural and hiking options in Łodygowice with a distinct opportunity to spend time by the lake.

The railway station is also part of the town’s history: Łodygowice station was the first station on the Bielsko–Żywiec line to open for passenger traffic. The station building was probably built in 1888.
