Bełk: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Bełk has a specific cultural attraction in the form of the wooden Church of St. Mary Magdalene. The church was built in the 18th century on the site of an earlier wooden church and has been preserved to this day. You can rent a holiday apartment in Bełk. Bełk is documented in the Liber fundationis episcopatus Vratislaviensis under the form “aput Belconem”. The settlement was probably founded under German law around the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries.
East of Bełk, a copper forge was established next to the Bierawka. Copper was rolled into sheets, drawn into wire, and processed into tools and vessels; some of the production was exported. The operation ceased production around 1860.
