Losino by the Słupia: nature trail and manor park

Construction work on a canoe station behind the forestry lodge in Łosino, including waterway and road signage, was completed in July 2018.

Manor park and history

The manor and grange complex includes the former manor park, part of the former residential area. The park contains trees recognized as natural monuments. Right by the Słupia and surrounded by old oaks is the tomb of Łosino’s last owner, Commander Maximilian von Zitzewitz, who died in 1937. The combination of the park, riverside setting and tomb gives this place a different character from the routes focused on nature and activity.

A path leads from the former manor park’s western main entrance to the ruins of the manor house. Several specific sites are therefore available for exploring the area’s history: the former complex, the park with its trees recognized as natural monuments, and the ruins.
