Culture and History
Rąb was first mentioned in written sources at the beginning of the 19th century. The regional museum in Rąb was founded by the Kashubian cultural association “Na Kraju”. Everyday objects from earlier generations are displayed there.
The archaeological remains in Rąb include burial grounds with cist graves. Archaeological investigations in Rąb recorded five archaeological sites. Four of the archaeological sites documented in Rąb are remains of burial grounds of the Pomeranian population. The fifth archaeological site documented in Rąb contains the remains of stone barrows that probably date from the transitional period between the Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age.
The C-390 barrow cemetery in Rąb contains two partially preserved stone barrows of unknown chronology. The C-417 flat-grave cemetery in Rąb dates from the Early Iron Age.

There is a bus stop called “Rąb Izba Regionalna” on municipal road G8.1 between Pomieczyno and Rąb.
