The C-1 cycling route is 40.15 km long. Near Koziki, it follows the Koziki–Giełczyn road and then continues to Giełczyn. To resume train services to Łomża, the 17 km railway line No. 49 between Śniadowo and Łomża was rebuilt. The Koziki stop was also included in the discounted “Taryfa Podlaska” fare offer.

A local connection to railway history is the station building at Koziki 1, which is listed in the monument register of the Gmina Śniadowo. Community and local food

A family picnic was held in Koziki, organised by the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury in Śniadowo together with Koziki residents and visitors from further afield. The women of KGW Koziki prepared snacks for the participants. The event brought people together over food in a local setting – offering a different perspective on Koziki from its cycling route and railway themes.

Food processing is also linked to a local initiative: the Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich in Koziki received a grant of 8,000 zł for workshops on drying, pickling and pasteurising food. These three techniques give the project a clear culinary focus. Together with the snacks at the family picnic, they paint a picture of local activities in which food plays a tangible role.
