History

Łuka existed from 1632 to 1986; due to the construction of the Siemianówka Reservoir, the residents were relocated to Nowa Łuka.

Geographical Location

Łuka is associated with the municipality of Narewka in the Podlaskie Voivodeship and is located on the Siemianówka Reservoir.

The former village originally stood on a low hill that extended along the Narew and sloped gently down towards the river.

Along the present-day Siemianówka Lake, a memorial stone stands on the access road to the former village of Łuka.

Within the municipality of Narewka, the Łuka cadastral district includes the locality of Nowa Łuka.
