Grodno Castle and architectural history

Grodno Castle is located in Zagórze Śląskie on Góra Choina, at an elevation of 450 metres. The medieval castle preserves both medieval walls and Renaissance rooms. Two building phases thus meet here: alongside the surviving stretches of wall, the preserved features include rooms from a later period. The parish church of Podwyższenia Krzyża Świętego also tells a story of several periods.
