Two blue hiking trails starting in Lubomierz-Rzeki

Two blue hiking trails start in Lubomierz-Rzeki and differ in their named waypoints. One goes via Trusiówka and Papieżówka to Borek Pass. The other passes through the Koszarki clearing, along the border of Gorczański National Park, to Gorc and Hale Gorcowe. Their shared blue trail marking provides an initial point of reference; the different waypoints and destinations are what matter when choosing a route. From Lubomierz, you can also take trips to nearby Kudłoń. This offers another excursion destination in addition to the two routes described.

The Pilgrimage Routes Gathering

Since 2005, the annual closing ceremony of the Pilgrimage Routes Gathering in the Gorce and Beskid Wyspowy mountains has taken place. It was initially held at the Polana Trusiówka clearing; today, the closing ceremony takes place at “Na ogrodach” in the valley of the Kaminicki stream. The gathering is organized by the Municipality of Mszana Dolna together with the Dean of the Mszana Dolna Deanery, Gorczański National Park, the Lubomierz sołectwo, the primary schools in Lubomierz, and the local volunteer fire brigade.
