Stawki is home to several archaeological sites as well as local cultural and leisure attractions. The Stawki 2 archaeological site contains a Paleolithic–Mesolithic camp; there are also settlement traces of the Corded Ware culture. The Stawki 5 archaeological site contains settlement traces of the Funnel Beaker culture.

Culture and history
One specific cultural event was the “Wielki Dzień Patrona” ceremony held in Stawki on 11 January 2002. It included an artistic programme, the presentation of a flag, the opening of a new school wing with a sports hall, and an exhibition of photographs, books and documents about Maria Danilewicz Zielińska.
Local cultural activities include KGW Kujawianka in Stawki. It organised workshops in Kuyavian embroidery and floristry and made traditional Kuyavian clothing and embroidered aprons. The annual local activities of KGW Kujawianka in Stawki include a community Women's Day celebration, a festival welcoming autumn, and decorating a Christmas tree together with recycled decorations. KGW Kujawianka from Stawki also takes part in regional markets, where it presents its activities.
The history of the Ośno estates also extends into the village: Stawki was one of the granges belonging to these estates.
Leisure and sport
Stawki has a playground and skate park on ul. Sportowa. The recreation and leisure area in Stawki is located on ul. Sportowa, on plot 240/2. Stawki has a sports stadium with an amphitheatre.
The Gminny Klub Sportowy “Start” is located in Stawki at ul. Szkolna 1A. In 2026, GKS WIP “START” Stawki received financial support of PLN 90,000.00 for tasks related to the development of sport.
As part of the construction of a recreation and leisure area in Stawki, a playground with an in-ground trampoline, paths made of wooden logs, a hill with a tunnel and slide, a climbing pyramid, a nest swing and other play equipment was planned. A skate park with a pump track, quarter pipe, funbox, bank and Ollie box was also planned.
Geographical setting
The Wiślana Trasa Rowerowa runs through or is located within the municipality of Aleksandrów Kujawski as a cycle route.
