The parish in Grodziec was founded in the 16th century. The present parish church of St. Wojciech is a brick neo-Gothic building. It was built between 1893 and 1900 and consecrated in 1901. It is also listed both in the register of monuments and in the monument inventory.

The Forest Education Centre in Grodziec has a hall with taxidermied animals, a model of a lignite mine and a hut where a forester tells stories.
