Blizanów is especially easy to explore through its parish church, the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It stands on a small rise in the southwestern part of the village. The main altar of the church contains the image of Our Lady of Blizanów. It is a copy of the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa, made by an unknown painter in the 17th century. Numerous votive offerings on red velvet hang behind the image. Votive offerings are religious gifts given in gratitude, as a petition, or in fulfillment of a vow. Here, they are part of the veneration of the Marian image of Blizanów. The cult of Our Lady of Blizanów is still considered vibrant today.
