The green cycle path runs through Węgorzewo as a 30 km circular route between Brudzewko and Turostowo. The 29.7 km R-8 circular cycle route also runs through the village. The green cycle path is the longest route designated as part of the “Historia i przyroda to atuty Kiszkowa” project.
Cycle paths
The R-8 circular cycle route leads from Węgorzewo via Skrzetuszewo to the Brama III Tysiąclecia at Lake Lednica. It is one of approximately twelve designated connecting routes around Puszcza Zielonka. The green cycle path leaves Węgorzewo in a westerly direction, follows the Kiszkowo–Pobiedziska district road, and after approximately 200 m branches off onto a dirt track towards Turostowo.
At Węgorzewo’s central crossroads, near the figure of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the red and green cycle paths intersect. The red cycle path leads towards Brudzewko and reaches the voivodeship road.
Culture
The manor house in Węgorzewo is a brick building in the late Classical style dating from the first half of the 19th century. It is protected both as a registered monument and through inclusion in the monument register. The manor house retains an original wooden ceiling finishing ornament as well as an exposed wall showing the construction of the building.

The park in Węgorzewo dates from the first half of the 19th century and is classified as a landscape park. It is protected both as a registered monument and through inclusion in the monument register. The park surrounding the manor house in Węgorzewo contains two English oaks regarded as natural monuments: “Adam”, with a trunk circumference of 350 cm, and “Wojciech”, with a circumference of 440 cm, as well as a large old linden tree.
