The Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre near Kvåsfossen offers guided group visits outside regular opening hours. They can be booked and must be reserved at least 14 days in advance. The visit includes the tunnel salmon ladder, exhibitions and activities. The facility is universally accessible; a lift leads into the mountain, and there is an accessible toilet at the entrance and exit. Cultural history in Lyngdal and Konsmo
The Lyngdal Mission Museum combines the history of a school building with the region’s missionary history. The building was originally Lyngdal’s first permanent school and was used from 1844. The museum presents the history of the missionary work of the pastor couple Gustava and Gabriel Kielland; guided tours are available by arrangement. Another cultural stop in Lyngdal is Klokkergården bygdetun, which consists of several cultural heritage buildings.
