The Korenhoop Mill also combines architectural and local history. It is a grain mill built in 1801 and a round, stone, ground-level windmill. It was given its name in 2016; the name was devised by pupils from the Boaz School in Meliskerke. During Sjezenrijden, Zeeland folklore, decorated horses, traditional costumes and festively decorated sjezen are presented. One of Meliskerke’s oldest houses is also the semi-detached workers’ house at Valkenburgstraat 5–7.

Walk, cycling route and ring riding

There are set activities and different forms of exercise for active days. The RVM ring-riding competitions take place in Dorpsstraat in Meliskerke and can be attended free of charge. Every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., a group walk takes place in Meliskerke as a circuit through the village. From May to October, a 25-kilometre cycling route takes place at 1:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
