The present-day Badpaviljoen building was constructed in 1888–1889 on the site of an earlier bathing pavilion dating from 1837. The Johanneskerk is also one of the motifs closely associated with Domburg’s art history: Piet Mondrian drew and painted it several times. The colourful Mondriaanbank, in turn, refers to Piet Mondrian’s iconic style.

The Marie Tak van Poortvliet Museum Domburg focuses on classical modern art, particularly the theme of artists’ colonies in Europe. Continuously changing exhibitions are on display there, and the garden contains sculptures. Molen Weltevreden is a stone Dutch smock windmill dating from 1817. It was a source of inspiration for numerous painters who worked in Domburg, including Toorop and Mondrian.
