A special highlight is the range of activities offered by Alpacas Zeelandia in Aagtekerke. All year round, it offers a one- to two-hour alpaca beach walk for people aged 10 and over. The walk leads through the dunes and along the beach between Domburg and Westkapelle. It thus combines an encounter with alpacas with a landscape of dunes and beach.

For planning your day, the two animal activities differ in terms of age range and duration: the beach walk is for people aged 10 and over and lasts one to two hours, while the experience trail is suitable for all age groups and lasts approximately 60 to 90 minutes.

The Dorpskerk and Aagtekerke’s history

The Dorpskerk in Aagtekerke is a historic church on the Dorpsplein. Its tower dates from the 15th century, while the single-nave church building dates from 1625. Its furnishings include a tomb monument for Hendik Thibaut, Isabelle Porrenaer and their daughter Jacoba, created by the sculptor Rombout Verhulst. The history of the building also dates back to the time of the Eighty Years’ War.
