The Grosmolen also reflects several layers of history. It was extensively restored in 1966/67. The Grosmolen can be visited when its sails are turning. The O.L. Vrouw Geboorte – De Goede Herder church has been in use again since 2024.

Both serve as an auxiliary pumping station for the 90-hectare Doespolder; the pumping height is 1.50 metres. The Polderpad runs along the A4 on a shell path.
