A notable cultural monument is the Groot Duijfhuis complex in Kasteren, a hamlet of Liempde. It is a Rijksmonument, meaning a Dutch national monument. The village’s history also comes to life in a village museum: in 1989, an exhibition about the life of the Kleuskes was opened. This developed into a museum that illustrates the past of farms on the sandy soils of Brabant.

The Boeremèrt, a traditional event in Liempde, is also part of the local tradition and helps keep the area’s heritage alive. Another way to explore the history is the historic Duits Lijntje railway line, which runs through Liempde. The Boxtel–Wesel railway line, the Duits Lijntje, opened in 1873. The landscape itself also offers various points of interest. The privately owned Landgoed Velder is located in Liempde and covers 180 hectares. After coppice management had lost its function, Landgoed Velder was transformed into a park woodland. South of Liempde lies the De Scheeken woodland, between Landgoed Velder and the Dommel valley. Visitors can observe red deer in the Scheeken. During the rutting season, Brabants Landschap also organises excursions to see the red deer. The rutting season provides the seasonal context for these red deer excursions.
